Rates & costs explained

Know what your financing really costs.

The rate on the offer isn’t the whole story. How you’re charged and how often you pay can matter more. Here’s how to compare offers in plain language.

Why it matters

Expensive money hides in the fine print.

Factor rates look small

A 1.3 factor on a short term can mean a very high annual cost.

Daily debits squeeze cash

Paying every day leaves less to run the business between jobs.

Stacking multiplies the cost

A second advance to cover the first can trap cash flow.

  • Is the rate fixed or variable?

Questions owners ask

Rates and costs questions

What’s the difference between a factor rate and an interest rate?

A factor rate sets a fixed payback amount (for example, $100,000 × 1.3 = $130,000 owed), no matter how fast you repay. An interest rate is charged over time on the balance. Over a short term, a factor rate can equal a much higher APR.

How can I lower my MCA payments?

Options may include refinancing into a longer-term structure with monthly payments, or using property equity through a Business HELOC. What fits depends on your revenue, property, and current balances. A Capital Review maps what you pay today first.

Will you quote me a rate on the website?

No. Rates depend on underwriting, the program, and the market, so any number on a website would be a guess. Your Capital Review shows real options for your situation.
